rose is her name....she loves to play the game......each time I tap her ass, she screams out my name.

she walks by my car without saying a word, each time I whistle, she flips me the bird.

I lean over for a kiss, but I guess I dearly miss, for when I hear her laugh, my heart goes amiss.

my thoughts quicken and my breaths go faster.......her love has left me, in such a disaster.

rose rips at my feelings and makes me perspire...why do I feel, for her such desire?

raindrops on my pillow, sunshine on my face.....without rose's love, I'm such a disgrace.

rose never loved me, for I know this is true....because now she has gone, and left me so blue.

The other day I was at my clinic for my monthly check up for my disorder. They take blood... see your mood chart.. and you talk about what you been struggling with that month. I have seen this man a few times during my visits waiting in the clinic. He throws fits because he has to wait. He stomps around like a baby.. raising his voice complaining and bitching and demands the nurses to put him first with a threat that if they don't he will be uncontrollable because he is bipolar. What bull.... the guy is plain and simple and jerk. He tosses the term bipolar around as an excuse to scare people, get his way and bully. A bipolar fight/flight response is about survival.. not being a loud obnoxious jerk.

At a different clinic I have seen this mother and her 14 yr old in the waiting room. The boy regularly does not listen.. he is bouncing everywhere.. mocking his mother.. driving the front desk nuts. The mother talks to others waiting always saying "Oh well, nothing I can do he is bipolar.. he just needs new medication. Bull! his constant misbehaving has nothing to do with being bipolar. The medication is not going to fix his behavior.

I have ran into many in the past and even now on the internet who throw around the term 'Bipolar' like it is the IN thing. A fad. Self diagnosing, claiming to be to fit in, trying to question others whether they have the illness or not... yet at the same time know nothing about the illness. It's just like with any group of people. When you meet someone suffering with the same illness as yourself you NEVER play this are you really? crap. You know!

It makes me upset because it is people like this who give the illness a bad name. You have all these immature people running around self diagnosing, self promoting for attention... all the while.. the real people suffering sit quietly trying to stay as normal and focused as they can. Some trying everything in their power not to let the world know they are ill.

It's a bit late for a show tonight. I should start using this blog to type my thoughts..lol
**it's about time**

I was giving this subject some thought. Some of you already know what has been happening to me these last few months. My blood pressure being high at strange times. I have been to the doctor.. the EKG is always normal. There is always the possibility that because I am not on my medications at this time it is contributing to my anxiety and panic attacks. These last few weeks I am feeling much better. I have actually been able to work and clean the house a little. I have noticed though I seem to suddenly get the symptoms anytime I feel the slightest sadness.

Being bipolar it is a given.. I will have those times. I noticed the other night I was watching some old TV show clips.. a few made me cry.. just a little bit.. like when I watch 'Touched by an Angel'. I just teared up.. and suddenly the symptoms came back. I took an aspirin and it left as fast as it came. I have noticed this several times.

Now what?

How does one go about healing this? I have to heal the tissues that have been damaged. I suppose just like with everything else it all comes down to taking care of yourself. The diet, exercise and stress reduction.

Next rant will be about the losers who purposely go around breaking peoples spirits! ..

Interestingly, 85% of patients with unipolar depression report that they suffer from insomnia, even though bipolar patients tend to experience hypersomnia - excessive sleeping - during depressive episodes.
